Iceland has been on travel list since I started seeing the photos of its magnificent landscapes, horses, Reykjavik and the Blue Lagoon. One of my best friends, and huge fan of traveling, brought up their plan to potentially book a trip. I was intrigued and started to do my own research. I found that it could be done on a fairly inexpensive budget, especially if you travel during their late Fall/early Winter. Now, most people may not associate traveling to Iceland in November as idealistic, but we couldn’t have asked for better weather, and experience in this European country in the middle of the Atlantic.
A Guide To:
Positano is a gorgeous city perched on the ocean facing the mountains of the Amalfi Coast. It was one of the most romantic and beautiful cities we visited on our trip, with stairs that will take you anywhere your heart desires. It was incredible to come into this city from Naples, down all of the winding roads to view the sparkling ocean and the many colorful dwellings perched on the cliff sides. After a long day of traveling, setting my eyes on Positano’s and all of its charm is a moment that I will never forget.
Oh, Capri! What a beautiful island on the Amalfi Coast. I will admit that my experience in Capri was a tad bit jaded. Capri was the last leg of our trip, and the previous 8 days in Italy had been well into 90 degrees farhenheit—daily. Needless to say, we never checked the weather. The day we were scheduled to take the ferry from Positano to Capri, it appeared overcast. Once we had all of our bags neatly packed and had taken them down the flights of stairs to check out, we saw that it was in fact raining. Cue the start of an adventurous morning of traveling.
